Gurriny Yealamucka GPs to take appointments from Workshop St clinic from July 27

Monday, July 6, 2026

We're pleased to share some great news for the Yarrabah community.

From Monday, July 27 our GPs will once again be regularly seeing patients from our Workshop Street Building, making it easier and more convenient for many community members to access primary healthcare close to home.

It's been some time since we've had the staffing capacity to offer this service, so we're excited to welcome patients back to this location.

Our initial GP roster will be:
Monday – Dr Rebecca
Tuesday – Dr Brooke
Wednesday – Dr Oscar (half day) & Dr Sasha
Thursday – Dr Oscar (half day)

Appointments are essential for the Workshop Street clinic to ensure each GP can provide quality care to their booked patients.

If you need to be seen without an appointment, walk-in services will continue to be available at our Bukki Road Clinic.

To support the service, a receptionist and nurse will be on-site, with plans to expand staffing as more team members become available.

Importantly, our much-loved Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs will continue operating from the Workshop Street Building, alongside a number of our visiting allied health services.

We're delighted to once again provide a walkable GP service for our community and look forward to welcoming patients back through the doors.

To book an appointment, please contact Gurriny Yealamucka Reception on 4226 4100.
