Clinical Support Team
Thanks to this powerful teamwork, (GYHSAC) continues to deliver comprehensive, community-led health care grounded in connection, trust and culture.
From booking GP appointments to organising client transport, they’re often the first point of contact and their dedication helps keep everything running smoothly.
Reception staff also manage appointment changes, maintain accurate client records, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and cultural respect. Their work ensures every client feels safe, respected, and supported from the moment they walk in.
Meanwhile, our External Services Liaison Officers (ESLOs) keep the wheels turning behind the scenes of our visiting clinics.
Each month, they coordinate up to 20 specialist and allied health services – ranging from fortnightly to quarterly visits – to give Yarrabah families access to expert care, right here in community.
How it works:
- GPs initiate referrals
- ESLOs process referrals and schedule appointments
- Clients are supported with home consultations and appointment reminders
Thanks to this powerful teamwork, GYHSAC continues to deliver comprehensive, community-led health care grounded in connection, trust and culture.
