Family Wellbeing
The Family Wellbeing Services (FWS) is here to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families through life’s challenges—offering strength, connection, and culturally safe support when it's needed most.
The FWS team supports families with children aged 0–18 years by offering hands-on help with parenting, home life, emotional wellbeing, and navigating services. Whether it’s creating routines, accessing counselling, managing budgets, or addressing safety concerns—our team provides non-judgemental, tailored care every step of the way.
The FWS work closely with other programs and services – both at GYHSAC and across the community—so families get the right support at the right time. From early intervention to reunification support, the FWS team adapts to meet each family’s unique needs.
