Transport
The Transport Team ensures the smooth and efficient client transport services. They focus on getting clients to and from their medical appointments in Yarrabah and Cairns.
We provide non-emergency transport for clients who do not have access to their own or another vehicle but are in a stable and non in immediate danger to either Bukki Road or Workshop Road Clinics, and pre-booked medical appointments in Cairns.
Both our transport vans have wheelchair access with is operated by our trained, experienced transport drivers.
Monday to Friday
Cairns Transport | Yarrabah to Cairns
8am for clients with appointments between 9am to 11am/12n
12 noon for clients with PM appointments
Monday to Friday
Community Transport
8am to 4pm | every half hour before appointment times to all locations around community
Saturday
8:00am pick-up only for Dialysis then return home after treatment
Reception staff will contact clients to confirm the transport pickup for their Cairns appointment the day before the appointment in Cairns.
Bookings for this service can be made at the time an appointment is made but must be booked at least 24 hours before the appointment by calling reception on 07 4226 4100.
